For buggies then rubber seals are best to use as they're normally subjected to dirt, water or both. Some kits use a mix of full rubber sealed and half rubber half metal sheild. The benifit to being fully sealed is that the lubrication stays in but also marginally increase friction.

Our kits use a mix. We have full rubber sealed wheel bearings/drive pinion bearings and the larger diff bearings are half sealed.

I think our kits are very well priced and high quality.
