I have been looking at getting a new Tx but didn't fancy spending the £300 odd for a new Futaba or KO.

will be interesting to hear more from actual owner. A lot of US/UK company are rebranding asian products. this is reality. And a lot of Futaba products were also made in Malaysia and Taiwan. But, with Japanese QC, I don't have problem with it. Speed Passion were rebranding HobbyWing product. HobbyWing is pretty good stuff, has good review in China, however, they are expensive by the domestic (china) market.
Seriously... can't say much about chiyuan. As i said, domestic (china) review for Chiyuan stuff is not that good. Will love to see if the "Schumacher Core" version is any good.
In my humble opinion. There is a diff with "Rebranding, Marketing" vs Contract Manufacturing.
Personally, i wouldn't buy any of the "Core" products.
