I'd have to say that body clips are the way to go. If a bit fiddley and unsightly, they fix the body positively to the chassis. The velcro can come loose in a race and end up fouling dampers or steering - could end up losing you a race. John Lewis do some hard core 3M velcro in the haberdashery section if you want to go down the route.
