Guys, they do have to get it down to he "S1" price somehow though.... Just changing Carbon to S1 and removing some of the fancy diff bits is never going to save them the £80 differance that there is between the two specs.

The S1 is supposed to be the "budget man's" car (or as I think the Schumcher press release read) for the "racers with an eye on cost". Just because the shocks are not big bore and just becuse they are not threaded does NOT make then bad! For most club racers they will be MORE than adequate!!!
Point taken DMS. Correct me if I am wrong but does the CAT S1 not come with the same shocks as CAT SX? The fact remains that those shocks were designed twenty years ago. There is virtually no difference between those and the ones on my JRX2. It would have been easy for Schumacher to cut costs without eliminating one of the most appealing aspects of the Cougar SV, THE WICKED COOL SHOCKS! For example, they could have included the shocks with steel shafts instead of Ti and used plastic shock caps in place of the shiny purple bits. There are lots of other places they could have cut costs.

I am just bitter because I was going to buy the S1 and now I am not so sure.
