The S1 is supposed to be the "budget man's" car (or as I think the Schumcher press release read) for the "racers with an eye on cost". Just because the shocks are not big bore and just becuse they are not threaded does NOT make then bad! For most club racers they will be MORE than adequate!!!
On the cheaper B-Max from Yokomo the cheap kit comes with plastic shocks to save money (just thank god that Schuey did not make them plastic too, there would be uproar!! LOL)

For once, I mostly agree, I also think that Schumacher know the Pro kit will sell more, and when you actually add up the cost difference, as don't forget, although Big Bores cost £80 (apparently), the kit shocks also cost, I don't expect to see Titanium turnbuckles either, no Carbon will save lots too.
