The second batch of kits onwards have shorter CVD axles on the front. All these have are shorter threaded ends than the 'old' versions
Stack up of tolerances on the components can make some cars tight, so dremelling of the end has been necessary to some cars.
I ran mine at the Euro's, 3 nationals and a regional without it failing scrutineering.
I guess since the car has come to the fore in the 'off' season where scrutineering isn't so 'popular' then the problem has been 'masked'.
We're testing some low profile nuts at the moment. So we'll have some of these out soon.
