Lo siento Alfonzo, I have to disagree here
I raced my Cat 2000 98 (side saddle) until recently, on astro tracks with a crazy 10x1 Revolution and the latest 4200 Corally and the tranny held up fine, better than my X-5 for sure.
Just be sure to stock on some blades and change them at the first signs of wearing, it can be every 3-4 runs on some tracks like Kampenhout.
Handling is amazing on this car. The only thing I see that makes it slightly out-of-date is its lack of forward bite (motricity ?), specially on blown-out tracks. Killer car on carpet ! I love it.
