foam tires
Well i got put in the next to bottom heat tonight which made it tough to get some clean laps but I managed to win the B final with a time that was quick enough to have got in the A.
I soaked the tires in additive a few days before but it still took a lot of additive and scrubbing in on the night but when they was they had massive grip, in fact too much i might say.
I found i had to radius the edges of the tires and glue them on.
they did cone alot and will need skimming before using again but i really enjoyed using them, I think a lot of guys was surprised to see a buggy hacking round like it was on rails.
So i will see if a harder compound will work better.
Oh and Gurdy I am only using foams as i am racing on primafelt carpet like at petit but for touring cars only. The rubber spikes kill the carpet.
For PDA and Worksop etc you dont really have any choice but to run the tires they suggest.
So does any one have a cheap tire truer for sale???
I also need it to fit pan cars 1/8th and 1/10th too. tall ask i think
