most garages use and approved warranty so the cost has allready been spent by the dealer taking the warranty out, if its manufacuters warranty the dealer does not pay!!!
our dealership has mazda in there, an independant is more then likley not going to know what it is, or be able to claim on the warranty ( unless thier a spezialized independant)

I stand corrected by an EXPERT.I don't work in the trade, I'm just on the reciving end of it, and unfortunatly they arn't all as saintly as you & your place or as helpfull, thanks for the advice, I am in the process of dealing with nissan directly, as they are admitting that if you tow a lot, which I do the dual mass can't cope with it, BUT I tow nowere near the max capacity of the vehicle.
