Absolutley mate, especially as you have mentioned it before. Ill give you an example, we had a customer come in to us 2 weeks ago complaining that his bike was running badly after 3 years and 30,000 harsh miles, without any dealer service history. It turns out 2 of the stick coils had corroded along with the silencer baffles. Kawasaki still did the work under warranty even though it was a year out of the warranty period.
Also we had a chap complaining of a noisey engine on his custom bike, this went on for about 3 and a half -4 years, we could never 100% accuratley diagnose the fault until a main crank bearing failed, again as he had reported it to us on a previous occasion the work was done under warranty (bikes have 2 year warranty from new). Ive got to say we are very lucky with Kawasaki, the bike dont give us hassles too often, but if and when they do Kawasaki always back us up and help the customer.
So give it a go and see what they say!
