check out B&Q they had a small 6ltr compressor (there own brand, Powertrain or something) for just under £50 before the 15% off sale started so u might be able to pick one up for about the £40 mark.......
My hobby comp cost £89, but rarely use it. Got a 25ltr comp in the garage that i use, with an 15mtr airline ( gets you away from the noise...) and regulator/moisture trap.
PS if you know an OAP ( don't laugh
) they can get an OAP discount card from customer services so can get another 5% off the £40
