Get Mcafee to do a complete computer scan across all drives. It should pick up the location of the virus (if there is one).
Easisest way to remove viruses is to format the drives, (once your critical files are removed), and reinstall windows again from scratch. There may be a recovery disc or someway to restore it back to how it came out of the factory. The hard thing is finding out if the virus is contained in your documents/photo's/music.
