they can't keep it on the rear (of the arm) because the shocks will interfere with the roll bar tie-rods
they can't have the arm mounts on the front and the pivot on the front, you would require a new bar and the leverage wouldn't really work that well
I'd say they need a roll bar mount on the 'back' of the rear gearbox also.
