Thankyou for the tips Jason,you've come to the rescue again.Ive dismantled all of my motors and Stonzy has volunteered to spin my arms up on his lathe.Most of them look really good and I havent tried cleaning these motors with the 'DIPPING' method as yet.As you mentioned I have removed all the bearings and soaked them in Shellite then cleaned them again with motor spray while spinning them a little.You get to see all the dirt wash out of them and I keep cleaning till the dirt stops.I have around 15 motors in total with winds between 9 through to 12 single and doubles.
As for the brushes-when I re-assemble the motors,how should I go about braking them in again? My charger has a motor brake in program,what should I do to have these motors running in top form again?
