What I'll do then is just try it with my 'outdoor' cat, indoors. I have assigned one for indoors, and one for outdoors, so at least if it does get destroyed in a blaze of glory, then I'll have my indoor one to be a bit more sensible.
So, since bury is full at the moment, where can I go to at least get some practice. I've seen you guys mention a few other places (ashton, denton?).

Roundabout is currently really slippery, but a good sized track. Its mostly attended by the Bury crew.
Stockport is the size of a postage stamp and all hairpins. That said my Cat'98 kicks ass in there.....
I've not been to Ribble myself so can't say.
