I would guess the aluminium chassis will sort out some of your issues BBQ
what you have come up with is what i used on the S2, but using part of the gearbox casing rather than using posts. Btw is indoors track high grip ?.
Re the motor plate & idler kit, still currently on target for the end of this month early next month.
