I have adjusted most everything to tebos setup. I just need to change the front axle height spacer and adjust the ride height

I don't know if I have the 7 deg castor block or the law36 and law37 or have the UM521 arms for the. How can I tell? I also need the #72 shock spring for the rear.

Do you guys leave the dirt shield in front of the motor on? It makes it hard to get the motor out or change pinions.

Also I bought a new body for it, a proline vortex but it dont fit. Is the FS take a different body then the reg zx-5?
In order mate ...

The shocks are the best 1/10th off-road shocks I've ever built, fill them with oil, make sure shock shaft is fully extended, screw cartridge in till it stops, unscrew 1/2 turn then slowly push shock shaft in, hold it fully home as you tighten the cartridge fully = perfect shock every time!

The casot blocks will have been included with the original kit (they will have R7 and L7 moulded on them ... the 10deg ones are R10 & L10 as if you couldn't have guessed )

Not 100% sure but I think Tebos set-up is essentially using the stock rear hinge pin positions but using the LAW36/37 ali mounts purely for the shiney blue (and a little bit of extra strength and tuneability). Leave the wishbone hangers as stock till you can get the ali LAW36/37 parts and I'm sure the car will be fine!

I thought that Tebo used the #68 blue spring which is kit standard? #72 is a little stiffer than we normally use but then again I don't run on your sort of track surfaces.

UM521 are the RB5-SP arms, they are slightly longer than stock (LA243 is the same length arm but with an extra, more outboard, shock mounting hole). This arm will give you a little less side-bite than stock but make the car feel a fraction more stable, again something we don't normally run in the UK so it's not something I can comment on. I'd get out there and try the car with the stock arms ... can always get the extras later.

The Proline body is for the ZX5 & zx5-SP which are shorter than the ZX5-FS. If you don't want to run the very pretty stock body then a BJ4 / B44 shell fits perfectly.

Can you please post a link to the set-up your following, I don't recognise the details you have posted from any of Tebo's set-ups I've seen!
