Crag, it depends a lot on the track you'll be racing on, but that's pretty much in the ball park I'd say. Personally, I'd start off lower (17T, or even 16T if it will fit) and check the temperature of the motor after a first practice run. If it's nice and cool, and you feel the need for more top end speed, go up a tooth and check again! That's the safest way to do it.
