Grass is a common surface in the UK, tho fast being replaced with second hand sports astroturf, the grass soon rips up after a days racing, particularly with 4 wheel drive, difficult to run a 2 day event. Grass & Astro can almost be treated the same with regard to tires, damp conditions a green compound and yellow in dry conditions (green slightly stiffer) these are Schumacher mini spike, come as fronts & rears.
