I once snapped a clutch cable on a fiat panda many moons ago, and simply started it in first, built up speed, then crunched it onto 2nd, 3rd etc. Managed to get from MK to aylesbury using that method. When the clutch went in the trusty focus (Fix Or Repair Daily) it has some kind of failsafe that prevented this. rubbish.

no they dont nothing to do with the clutch or hydralics, you just have to know how to drive with no clutch!
