I am getting a bit cheesed off with GT in the last couple of versions. It has become more and more a requirement to use a steering wheel. While this is technically more realistic, I never got a feel for the car through the steering wheel, when I tried it, I always felt rather "detatched" if you know what I mean?

The first 3 versions were fantastic, and a tribute to what could be achieved with the hardware at the time. The game is now getting too long, and with too many laps, and it all becomes a bit tedious towards the end of the game, especially the endurance events

Looks like CM Dirt 2 is the one to go for...NFS Shift is also a step back IMO, since the controller configurations are a bit rubbish, you cannot use the D-PAD for steering, like in GT. The car is really hard to drive, using the analogue controls IMO.
