Hi Jacob, i've got the LRP Sphere and the large Spektrum receiver in mine and there's plenty of room if you put the receiver on it's side. I have the PT stuck to the receiver, it works perfectly. If you could swap the 5.5 for something else (maybe a 7.5) that would be useful but if you turn your throttle down a bit on your transmitter it shouldn't be that bad with the 5.5 if you can't find anyone to swap.
