You really need to be on the ball, try to get in the habit of going prone to reload, dont run around in the open too much if you find you get slotted all the time, keep close to walls, shoot from behind solid objects etc

Also a fast internet connection and a good connection to the "host" is a HUGE advantage. So much so I am considering moving house and the speed of the broadband where I move to is a big factor for me
