Try the capacitor first as it will smooth out the power delivery to the servo and help the crappy BEC circuitry.

like i said still not intresting wiring it was nicknamed here in the uk as hotwiring standard servos you pay 8 10 pounds for a servo and take the red lead direct to the fet lead it makes them quicker yes it gives more voltage and yes it will burn the servo out however i had a futaba standard servo back in the early 90s last nearly a year doing this that was a pretty good for £10 as a ko fet back then was £75.
i wouldn't recomend it but it is nothing new
and a cap will still not do any think.
