One thing - I haven't seen anywhere where it say's the trade in has to be working. It's a steal for those who have broken PT's. The deal isn't really that great for those who have perfect order PT's. But rest assured, if mine were to go faulty, it would be worth trading in.
To update - unfortunately, your PT (AMB or Clone) has to be in working order to trade.
