For home/gaming I agree your 100% completely correct...that PC is better is better than that mac! Totally agree...value for money, and spec, everything!
But I wonder if maybe the imac would be a better direct comparison to that PC as it is also i5 based, and for that money could have 1Tb HDD, 8gb ram and a 27" display?
The mac pro components and it's entire architecture, if you look into it in more detail...are all professional and specialist level choices, and are better for other/different jobs because they work differently...I'd imagine mac pro's mostly live within certain businesses...and with very wealthy people!!!
I hope mac never become as popular as PC's, they'd suffer the same problems then too!
