Neil, be good to meet you and see Mike again.

I have to try and find a carpet meeting to run the FS at before the Petit event as I've never had the car on carpet .

I have an idea of how to start and to be honest now I've found the key with which to balance the FS I am not expecting the starting set-up to be too disimilar to that I run on high grip astro (which I will post up over this weekend). This seems to be the basic med-high grip set-up for me and I'm only changing minor things .... low grip, well I'll tell you after this weekend @ PDA

I had a great set-up for carpet with the ZX5-SP though and the key was in the rear springs, Kyosho don't do anything heavy enough so I went to Losi orange springs and that really helped, Kyosho lime green #75s on thefront. Oils up 5wt all round. Shocks relocated to outer holes on both front and rear wishbones and outer on the shock towers to keep the shock inclination something close to normal.
At club (very small and technical track so not directly comparable) no other 4wd buggy could get close and that was with me driving so god knows how quick it would have been with a good driver

Ran the car with 1.4mm rear ARB and 1.2mm front ARB, links similar to normal as was wheelbase and anti-squat / kick up. Castor reduced to 7deg (normally ran 10deg)
