Yep it will fit.

If you are able to, you can mill 3mm off the heatsink and put it back. That way the fan doesnt need to move. The cap, can be placed on the motor (thats what i do)

I wouldnt move the fan to far away as it wont work for long if your going to be using it indoors for example
