Do NOT water dip a G2 motor,as you WILL ruin the brushes in it.
Clean the com with either motor cleaner or some WD40 on a cotton bud.The new G2 doesn't like water at all,so the old tricks of bedding in the brushes by water dipping just doesn't apply here. If you really want to bed in the brushes,just run the motor for around 15 mins on a 3V supply,it does the same job.Then clean the com,and wipe with a WD40 cotton bud,and away you go.
