I honestly can't believe this is thread still going on!

The basic facts of the matter are;

1) MK Racing have been going a while (Marc has been in the business longer than MK Racing IIRC) and I bet the lions share of the business is mail order. If he were rubbish and had poor customer service ethics the limited customer base that is the UK racing scene would have gone else where and he'd no longer in business. MK's very existance proves he's got to do a good job on customer service 99.9% of the time

No matter how you look at it the UK racing scene as popular as it is can still only be described as a very small & closed market. I've seen a couple of really good shops go over the last couple of years due to things like people buying abroad so there is no chance a rubbish one would survive!

2) Royal Mail aren't the best at keeping to their predicted deliveries at the best of times ... and these aren't the best of times with all the strikes!

I've had a fair few dealings with Marc and he's always been very professional and even more importantly very polite. On one of those occassions I ordered something which Marc told me would be available on a certain date, unfortunately it wasn't and without prompting he rang me and suggested I should try to source an alternative from another supplier as he wasn't 100% sure when he would be able to dispatch my order.... can't say fairer than that!

With things the way they are at the moment with the postal strikes and some of the distributors stock levels being a little lower than we are used to I've taken to ordering stuff early in the week after a meeting ready for the next meeting (usually 2 weeks between meetings in the Mid West over winter). Anybody who knows me at all well will tell you how disorganised I can be so if I can do it anybody can!
