Only sort of. They will
work, but it won't be good. Motors specifically designed for sensorless operation tend to be a lot smoother than those designed to be run sensored. This is done to reduce the cogging effect sensorless motors can exhibit at low speeds.
The result is that a sensorless esc can run a sensored motor but it will be quite jerky and cog badly compared to running a sensorless one.
