ok don't know if you have kids mate but look at it this way:
someone abuses your kid the police catch him, he really believes (as glitter does) that he has done nothing wrong, but admits abusing your kid, he gets found guilty and gets 5 years.
then when he gets out he gets a new i.d., gets relocated, gets a job and gets protected for the rest of his life when it should be our kids that get protection.
is that ok? i think not.
