Just out of interest, what difference does having the shocks laid down make? I mean in terms of 'in theory lay down shocks give me traction because...' etc

I would take it that lay down shocks are not better. if they were then surely manufacturers would be doing it.

The results above look great, I'm just trying to understand why it may be better?
