I guess I don't quite understand the question. We have suggested that those who want to upgrade from original to Squared simply get the Squared Kit and transfer over all the AE bits from their old car.

Now, if it's the AE bits that are tired, and that's likely the case, then just replace the AE bits and keep running the original car.

If you want the Squared and do not plan to sell the original car, then, as has been stated, you can remove the expensive stuff, including shocks, turnbuckles & ball studs, and the tranny/diff/slipper assembly, buy a Squared Kit and a few AE plastic parts. That would not be too expensive.
