Hi Jon,
Your statement here says it all.
I cant help but also to agree with DCM and jim76.
Personally if it was me launching a new product into a very competative market i would want it to go in with some impact to make it stand out and get noticed, not just hopefully kicking around the back of the pit area hoping somebody will notice it, or even pick it out in a race when its surrounded by B4's which are more easily recognised to most.
As DCM said if it had a named drive at the helm to give it a foot hold, and make it show its potential by challenging the B4's and XXX's.
A good solid review from the likes of jimmy ( who's review of the ZX5 made my mind up really that it was the 4wd for me!) then sales will increase as people would look to the change there cars. There would be a new contender to the run of the mill 2wd's.
But on the other hand if there not shown competitvely in the field then im sorry to say i dont hold much hope for sucsess for the RB, i wish it well mind, i really do would be grand to see it running well up there!
I guess what im saying is it would be a shame to see it just become "a good club car" like the zx5. By never really coming too fruit, through lack of knowledge and support in its maiden year.
As somebody looking at getting into 2wd, im gonna be looking with interest at what cars are doing well to influence my
decision in what to buy.
People are going to spend there hard earned readies on what they can see, or read what is winning the races, as we all aspire to be the next race winner!
And im sure if you were in our shoes you would do the same thing.
