The tekin RS pro has a current limit option to really turn down the power, and custom throttle profiles to smooth up the throttle response. The duel mode which switches from sensored to sensorless when the motor starts up also makes the drive smooth.
They are expensive new especially considering you need the hotwire as well, you could do to find someone selling a second hand one, with the pc linkup hotwire really - Like me - MUHAHAHAHA
