what size battery you using 7.2 or nimh and stick with the stock pinion gear i use the stock pinion gear with a 5.5turn brushless motor and a 78 spur gear and slipper pads off a rb5 and there no heat problems at all
there a nice truck but diffrent to the madrat the chassis longer but a very good truck i got 1 myself
