Default Why not use the chassis as a heat sink?

Are there any ESC's out there that conduct heat down through the base? With the big metal chassis, there should be no need for a heat sink on the ESC if the heat can be conducted down there. I'd like to try mounting the ESC upside down, but that has issues with the buttons etc.

Also, a cradle for the motor that gives a good thermal coupling to the chassis could be a great way to cool the motor. Much better than cutting a hole.

The PC industry provides us with plenty of thermal compounds and thermal glue that can be put into use. But I've only ever seen ones that are designed for close contact of surfaces.

Also: Anyone know what servo was used for the review here on Oople? It looks like it was made for the Durango.

Now, if the kit would just come back in stock.
