No such thing as a digital aerial. people are using the name to sell products for extra money. what they are are wideband high gain aerials, thats all. if you already have a good aerial of the correct group for your local transmitter dont bother changing it. you would gain more changing the cable to a digital satellite cable such as RG6U or if you have more money, CT100. if you have an amplifier splitting between rooms, updating that can help sometimes as some old ones produce a bit more 'noise' in the signal. newer amps also tend to use the satellite style 'F type' plugs which give less loss than normal coax plugs
