my caster went well enough at the neo without mechanical brakes. i do also see the added tunability of having mechanical brakes can be an advantage if sorted right but it definatly isnt essential.
having said this the advert says the car does have them but perhaps they are an option ??????, defo has the mounts to fit them tho
saw james heliwels ve8 at worksop round one, very nice piece of kit and some thing im hoping to add to my collection soon
