Ran my CR2 for the first time yesterday at stotfold and WOW was i impressed!!
I tqed every round of qualifying! Finished 2nd after letting a certain Mr Ellis Stafford beat me
The car is a great step forwards and i have a few ideas to make it better but a few of the tweaks i ran yesterday i have listed below for people to try
- X6 Body - It does fit and helps with rear end grip
- Jconcepts 7inch large v wing mounted high
- Hydra drive - Helps over the bumps and acceleration made the car alot smoother
- Rear Roll bar - helped the car steer
- Front Roll bar - helps keep the front end up as i run shocks inside on the tower and inside on the wishbone with a black spring
- MIP rear drive shafs - Helped the car steer
- 1 deg rear cr hubs - Helped the car pivot and also imprived rear end traction
- Weight - I only ran the Brass front bulkhead and a further 25 grams in the front.
I have some Rude bits goodies on the way so once fitted i will report back as i am sure with some extra weight towards the rear i can make the Cr2 even better......
