Thanks that was pretty informative; I already have the LiPo and I agree it is pretty hot, I am just debating with myself as to whether or not the brushless system is worth it and it seems the answer is a definite NO!
So I assume that the extra spur gears you can purchase at various places are designed to work with the brushless set ups. However, I would like to purchase an alloy one and Delrin pinions just for the sake of wear and tear, so the question is still open as to how many teeth the spur has, if anybody knows. Otherwise out with the magnifying glass and start counting I suppose.
