Thank you everyone for reply's, as stated above, think its because the conectors are slightly more toward the centre of the battery and the fact the battery is a 5000mah means its all very tight.
after talking with schumacher yesterday im going to try a 80 spur gear so i can move the motor towards the back slightly, il post on here next week with some pictures as should be getting the 80 tooth spur gear about the middle of next week.
