That's what I thought - it seems insane that lloyds wouldn't take my perfect record and 9-10 years ncb into account. Adrian Flux seemed to in some way, and said they could do it as a bonus or discount or something - I wasn't really listening

but the net effect was that it was cheaper with flux and zero ncb than lloyds WITH 10 years ncb. I have to say - I like the sound of it that way, since like has been said if the worst happens and I wang it into a hedge it won't effect my ncb on my smart (tho would effect the premium of course).
