Not enough steering with permanent 4wd unless you're on a mega grippy surface
Unless ther's a lot of straights followed by hairpins you don't need the extra stopping power you get with four wheel braking. Only having rear brakes also gives you the ability to pivot the car with a quick dab of brakes if you need to
