It's kind of ironic, because in reality the majority of cars have very similar geometry plastic parts these days. I haven't measured a Durango up yet, but having looked at one, i'd put money that it's very close to AE - certainly the rear. Which in reality most cars are!
So, when you take this into consideration, and JohnM's (hi m8!) views on the B44, means that it isn't entirely geometry that makes a car work or not.

It may look the same, but its not really AE who came up with this, the geometry has been like this since the first rc car. We are talking about millimeters here and there which you cant see with your bare eyes. Go and measure it and you'll see its alot different. Also the rear a-arms are raised from the chassis, due to the rear "kick up", something that I've never seen on a buggy before. You wish it is a AE copy, but its not.
