I love my Slash and won’t hear a bad word said against it. The handling is pure comedy gold, and it’s pretty much indestructible. It’s a great truck to get people into the hobby. But, with equal drivers, I don’t think it can compete with the low centre of gravity cars from AE, HPI and soon Kyosho, especially on high grip surfaces. I think of it more like the old Tamiya Boomerang or Hotshot in the early 90s, great for messing about and getting you started at a few club meets, then, as people want to be more competitive they move to the more race capable cars.
Can't wait for the HPI Blitz though.
