+1 - i went for a 1080p Panasonic Plasma. Only as it had What Hi Fi Sound and Vision 5 Star rating and inclusive 5 year warranty. That was a few years ago now though so things may of moved on. They have certainly got cheaper !
Im well happy with mine anyway. When i got mine, the only one that had a better review was the Pioneer
. Unfortunately it was double the price at over 4 grand
