Just a piece of stainless plate, that I stick to a 3 racing carbon one. Use the carbons clean edge to route around it like a template. Drill the holes and bang, a new chassis, using a HDPE 5mm one now as a prototype, its okay but too thick as I'm losing ground clearance.
The 1mm SS chassis idea is to give max ground clearance and off.
set the lipo weight as low as possible.
The rear laydown set up was tested on the weekend with great results. Rear traction was up as adjustiblility is fantasitic, I can adjust travel/droop/uptravel and rate with the twist of a turnbuckle or shim!
Last night I completed the front lay down set up. Looking positive as it can increase droop and up travel as well.
Can wait to get it back on the track!

Enough talk I'll get some photos up tonight. I'd love some one to add this suspension to a RT5, I think you could lower the body untill it rests on the gearbox!
