if you are damaging the pulleys, they you are either running the belts too loose or too tight, and have a damamged belt. You may want to invest in the eccentric belt guides, that allow a bearing to stop the belt skipping on the pulley.

I have run the same pulleys and diff's in my DB01 for the last 18 months, no issue, and they are the same part numbers.
